Perhaps the most discussed political topic of the last days was the message on suspicion to the scandalous head of the GFS Novel Nasirova and his detention. The official is charged with abuse of office and assisting in the”gas case” odious fugitive Oleksandr Onishchenkothat entailed grave consequences and caused damage to the state for UAH 2 billion.

Nasirova was handed a notice of suspicion in committing a crime under part 2 St. 364 criminal code of Ukraine (abuse of official position, entailed heavy consequences) and arrested him. The lawyer of the head of the SFS Alexander Miroshnik says that the actions of the detectives NAB – illegal, because during the presentation of suspected Nasirov was allegedly unconscious.

People’s Deputy of Ukraine Andriy zhurzhiy, who was on scene, noted that Nasirov could only pretend that he was unconscious.
“I think he will be in hospital, given the position of the doctors that he has a bad condition. Although I can say that I went upstairs and I could hear the doctors talking to him. As far as I know, the investigators, when I went into the house, he closed his eyes and pretended that he was unconscious,” – said Zhurzhiy.

According to the Specialized anticorruption Prosecutor’s office, the investigation considers that Nasirov during 2015 – 2016 acting in the interests of the people’s Deputy of the fugitive Alexander Onishchenko, gave the heads of regional and territorial bodies of GFS illegal instruction make baseless decisions on the installment plan of tax debt LLC “Firm “Khas”, “Carpocratians”, LLC “Nadra Geocenter”.
Within the specified period, the Roman Nasirov made the illegal decision on installment monetary obligations of these enterprises, which had no legal grounds and did not provide required documents. These decisions were adopted with violation of the established by law procedure, namely in the absence of proper justification and legal grounds that led to state losses of approximately UAH 2 billion.

“This is the biggest failure that made and will make NABOO. The investigation will prove nothing. Because of my relationship with Nasirov had no money. At the same time to arrest and detain a figure of such level – a blow to the NEB and the government in General,” said the fugitive.

In turn, head of the Specialized anti-corruption prosecutors Nazar Golodnitsky said that the investigation into the “gas case” MP Oleksandr Onishchenko requires the establishment and accountability of all participants in the schemes of illegal enrichment, but above all its organizers and beneficiaries – Chairman of DFS was already questioned in the framework of this production. He added that SAP will petition the court for custody of the controversial head of DFS and his removal from office.
“Given the possibilities of the suspect to resist the consequence and love for shoots abroad participants in the “gas business”, we will petition in court about election Novel Nasirova measures of restraint in form of detention and to demand his removal from office. Now detectives NABOO on behalf of the head of procedure, preparing appropriate motions to the court,” – said Holodnitsky.
Actions provided by the CH 2 St. 364 criminal code of Ukraine, which I suspect Nasirov, shall be punished by imprisonment for the term from five till eight years with deprivation of the right to occupy certain positions or engage in certain activities for a term up to three years.
