For payments to unemployed Ukrainians will send nearly 8 billion hryvnia
The government approved in 2017 the budget of the Fund of compulsory social insurance in case of unemployment. Its revenues will amount to 10.5 billion UAH and expenditures of UAH 10.3 bn.
The main source of revenues of the Fund will be the insurance premiums in the amount of UAH 9.9 billion. The main item of expenditure – the payment of unemployment benefits in the amount of 7.9 billion last year on payments sent 6.7 billion UAH. This writes UNIAN.
“The provision for the payment of unemployment assistance – 176,3 million hryvnias”, – it is told in explanatory documents to the resolution.
In 2016, the expenditure of the unemployment Fund reached 8.6 billion.
According to state statistics, the number of registered unemployed in Ukraine in January 2017 increased compared with December last year at 9.8%, while in absolute terms by 38.2 thousand persons, to 429 thousand people. However, in the service of such a comparison is called incorrect. Compared to January 2016, the number of unemployed has decreased, then the figure was 470 thousand people.
