In the Donetsk region the police banned the import of weapons to the region
By order of the chief of police of the Donetsk region Vyacheslav Abroskin on the territory of the region have banned the import of weapons, even if you have permission on its possession.
This is stated in the message of the Department of national police in the Donetsk region.
“According to the head of Donetsk military-civil administration in the region until completion of anti-terrorist operation prohibited hunting of all game animals. Therefore, in order to protect people from crimes associated with the use of firearms, by order of the chief of police of the Donetsk region Vyacheslav Abroskin on the territory of area it is forbidden to import weapons, even if you have permission on its possession,” the statement reads.

In particular, it is noted that in the Donetsk region, the cases of transportation of firearms through checkpoints. Also, in many cases, owners do not adhere to rules for the treatment of registered firearms.
“In a time when hunting in the Donetsk region were prohibited, the question of why people carry weapons through the checkpoints, remains open. So I decided when detecting people at checkpoints firearms asking them to surrender their weapons to police departments. In the case that the person will refuse, to prohibit further entry. In the area of the ATO we can’t afford the luxury that people roamed the streets with weapons,” – said Abroskin.
