SK the Russian Federation has accused the Ukrainian Colonel of the APU in the intentional shelling of Rovenky of “Tochka-U”

Russian investigators accused the commander of 19-th separate missile brigade of the APU, Colonel Fyodor Yaroshevich in the alleged firing of tactical missile complexes “Tochka-U” civilians of the Luhansk region.

This is stated in the message of the RF IC.

“One of the “Tochka-U” was recorded in the village of Rovenki in 2014. And now the investigative activities conducted in close cooperation with the operational services, the Investigative Committee managed to establish that the offence involved the commander of the 19 separate missile brigade of the armed forces Colonel Fyodor Yaroshevich. It was he, according to investigators, 22 Aug 2014 gave the order to strike tactical missiles on the settlement Rovenki, which killed three people, including a child born in 2008″, – stated in the message.

According to the investigation, the military actions had deliberate character, because “the use of weapons with indiscriminate effect, can hardly be called an accident.”

“Believe in the explanations of the Ukrainian side about some malfunctions of the control system of the missile and that “Point” used in similar conditions on numerous occasions, is also impossible. In addition, the Ukrainian military has acted in violation of the provisions of the Convention on the protection of civilian persons in time of war (Geneva, 1949) and Additional Protocol II thereto,” – said the Russian investigators.

We will remind, earlier Russia’s Investigative Committee has opened three new criminal cases against the Ukrainian military, who were accused of allegedly shelling cities in Donetsk and Luhansk regions. In addition, the investigators have accused the Ukrainian military in the shelling of the Donetsk filtering station.
