Feminist March was held on 8 March in the streets of the Ukrainian capital. The participants decided to remind you that this day is a symbol of the struggle for women’s rights which in Ukraine are systematically violated, according to a story TSN.19:30.
About five hundred women and men gathered at Sophia square to remind about the meaning of the feminist movement. “It’s not about the husband and unshaven legs, and not about hatred of men. Here women try to explain that they have equal rights”, – says member of the organization “women’s international League for peace and freedom” Nina Potarskaya. In the opinion of the participants of the action, the Ukrainian society soaked in household and professional sexism when the work is divided into male and female.
