Almost all mines of the holding Akhmetov on the territory ORDO stopped because of the blockade

In the uncontrolled territories of Donetsk and Luhansk regions stayed almost all coal mines which are the largest private Ukrainian energy holding “DTEK Energo” Rinat Akhmetov.

The press service of the holding, the Agency said that the mine “Komsomolets of Donbass”, “Rovenkianthracite” and “sverdlovskantratsit” are idle, but are controlled by the holding company.

Last year these three mines have produced 9 million tons of coal, or over one third of the production of the holding, which is mainly used in thermal power plants of the holding.

Stocks of these raw materials are exhausted, and the company is concerned about possible risks for future supply”, – stated in the message of ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih, which is one of the main exporters of Ukraine.
