Groisman promised Ukrainians free drugs from April 1
Since April 1, Ukrainians will be able to obtain free medicines. From the budget it has allocated 500 million hryvnia, and, if necessary, add more money, says the story TSN.19:30.
As stated by Prime Minister Vladimir Groisman at the opening of the modern intensive care Vinnytsia city hospital, the budget would provide free medicines for chronic diseases – diabetes, asthma and hypertension.
In addition, the government will not abandon health reform, particularly regarding the long-declared postulate to allocate money to the patient, not the hospital, as it is still. However, with implementation of this initiative, yet no specifics. “Today, tools are used, as a rule, in the old system – the financing of walls and beds. We want to change this ideology that we funded specifically a Ukrainian citizen, who gets a clear health service. I want to invest where you want a quality doctor, where there is high-quality equipment, which will be high-quality operating table and so on,” – said the head of the Cabinet.
