The British House of Lords voted against another referendum on Brexit

In the UK the House of Lords voted against the idea of imposing on another nationwide referendum the text of the final agreement on the country’s withdrawal from the EU.

Members of the house of lords 336 votes to 131 votes voted against, to allow another vote on British withdrawal from the EU at the end of the negotiations in 2019.

Lords and will probably support the amendment to article 50 of the Lisbon Treaty on Brexit, which makes the Prime Minister, Theresa may, to give the Parliament a greater say on the final agreement of Britain at the end of two years of negotiations.

Earlier , the House of Lords of the British Parliament had approved an amendment in the bill of initiation of withdrawal from the European Union. It requires the government to make proposals for the protection of the rights of EU citizens who are in the UK.
