The NAB investigates illegal enrichment by the first Deputy head of the SBU
March 10, Specialized anti-corruption Prosecutor’s office began to investigate illicit enrichment by the first Deputy Chairman of security Service of Ukraine Pavel Demchina.
It is reported by the NEB.
In particular, SAP has introduced to the Unified register of pre-trial investigation on the fact of illegal enrichment (article 368-2 of the Criminal code of Ukraine).
The basis for the registration of criminal proceedings have become the materials of journalistic investigations.
Investigation of the facts is entrusted to the Chief of detectives division of NABOO.
Currently on the facts of declaring of false information and for illegal enrichment the total number of investigations of e-declarations is 34. Of these, 15 relate to judges, the 8 deputies, 2 heads of district state administrations, 2 — heads of bodies of Executive power, one the officers of justice, Deputy Chairman of the regional Council, law enforcement agencies and the Prosecutor’s office, the State fiscal service, a soldier of high-ranking officers of the armed forces.
