The Committee of the European Parliament supported the granting Ukraine bezveza
European Parliament Committee on civil liberties, justice and home Affairs (LIBE) finally adopted the draft legislative resolution on granting Ukraine a visa-free regime.
As noted, for a decision voted by 39 members of the Committee voted, 1 abstained, and 4 voted against.
Now, according to procedure, the draft decision on the abolition of visa regime for Ukraine needs to be voted in plenary of the European Parliament, which is scheduled for April 5. And after final approval by the EU Council bezviz for Ukrainian citizens will enter into force on the 20th day after the publication of what will happen in June.
Recall that on 14 February the European Parliament adopted the mechanism of temporary suspension bezveza. February 28 was successfully completed trilateral negotiations, the results of which representatives of the EU Council, the European Parliament and the European Commission agreed to abolish visa requirements for Ukrainian citizens.
