The Russian foreign Ministry was angry because of providing Canada’s military support to Ukraine
The Russian foreign Ministry expressed dissatisfaction with the Ukrainian military training of canadian instructors and said that Ottawa is playing to Kiev, providing military assistance to Ukraine. This was stated by the representative of the Russian foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova, reports UNIAN.
“We are also serious concerned about Canada’s decision to extend the military mission in Ukraine. In the framework of the canadian instructors are engaged in on Ukrainian landfills so-called coaching the Ukrainian military personnel for the further sending to Donbass”, – said Zakharov.

In its opinion, such decisions of the government of Canada “extremely dangerous” and hinder “political resolution”.
Also the representative of the Russian foreign Ministry expressed concern that Canadians, in addition to coaching, began supplying ammunition to the Ukrainian army.
She said that instead of having “to put pressure on Kiev to force it to implement fully the commitments under the Minsk agreements, Ottawa is playing to supporters of a military solution to the situation in the Donbas and condones the continuation of bloodshed”.

In addition, Zakharov stressed that the consequences of such a policy “will be on the conscience” of Canadians.
Earlier, the government of Canada has decided to extend a military training mission in Ukraine until the end of March 2019. Within this two-year program of canadian instructors will provide military training and assistance in the development of capabilities of personnel of the Armed forces of Ukraine.
