AMCU has accused the three largest mobile operators in fraud rates
The three largest Ukrainian mobile operators – “Kyivstar”, “MTS Ukraine” and Lifecell – have provided its customers with inaccurate information about the rates for voice communication.
This is stated in the annual report of the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine, writes Эспрессо.TV”.
In particular, operators usually specify that the second voice is X UAH. Also report on the principles of billing.
“For example, “Kyivstar” notes that per-second billing. Then he adds that the calls are in the first second of each conversation minute in the amount of indicated cost of the minute. And seconds from the 2nd to 60th are free” – specify in the AMC.
Lifecell also indicates that tariffication is per second. Then he adds that the billing is carried out in the first second of each conversation minute. And the other 59 seconds are provided for the amount of the first second.
“MTS Ukraine” notes that the billing is carried out in the first second of each minute. Thus, the operator does not indicate that tariffication is per second.
AMC gave MTS the recommendation that the operator is not misled subscribers. The operator has eliminated the violations. And regarding the “Kyivstar” and Lifecell the investigation continues.
