In the Luhansk region the pensioner is a spy collecting data about the Ukrainian military
Employees of counterintelligence of SB of Ukraine in Lugansk area detained the local resident who collected the data for the militants.
As the correspondent of TSN, during January-February, the woman on the instructions of the representative of the intelligence unit of one of illegal armed formations so-called “LNR” carried out the collection and transmission of intelligence information regarding the geographic location of military positions, the number of personnel, quantity of armaments and location of military equipment of the ATO forces. Information was collected from conversations with friends, asked people at the market and other crowded places.
For contacts with his handlers from the “LC” the woman used a separate mobile terminal, and the intelligence she reported using the conventional names for the various types of military equipment, supplies of Ukrainian troops in specific offices and departments, as well as their combat positions on the ground. To the crime, the woman repented.
“Sorry, it’s all lightly. Inexcusable in this age such silly things to do,” said detained interrogation.
The bodies of inquiry in the context of criminal proceedings conducted initial investigations into the involvement of women to the Commission of a crime under part 1 of article 258-3 of the criminal code of Ukraine (“Creation of terrorist group or terrorist organization”).
