One billion dollars from the IMF, Ukraine will receive in March – Poroshenko

Until the end of March, Ukraine has a chance to get off its largest creditor – the International monetary Fund – the next tranche of 1 billion dollars.
About this on air of the Ukrainian TV channels said the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko.
“I can certainly say that March 20 will be a meeting of the Board of the International monetary Fund. As I promised Christine Lagarde, Executive Director of the IMF, we will get one billion dollars, and I hope it will happen in March,” – said Poroshenko.
We will remind, on 20 March, a meeting of the IMF Board of Directors, which will consider the allocation of Ukraine of credit. Last time Kiev has received a loan from the Fund six months ago – $ 1 billion in September 2016. In General, 4-year program of cooperation with the IMF provides a loan for a total amount of 17.5 billion dollars. Kiev has already received a 7.62 billion.
