Carpenter announced a referendum on accession of the occupied Donbas to Russia
The leader of Luhansk militants Igor Carpenter will initiate a referendum in the occupied part of Donbass to join Russia.
“We don’t just assume, we are confident that such a referendum will be obligatory. Of course, we want to initiate, but all the time. In fact at the beginning the question was to immediately go the way of Crimea, that we became part of the Russian Federation, but turned out a little differently, but this question has never been shot,” Carpenter said the Agency “RIA Novosti”.
He already knows in advance the outcome of the referendum.
“If such a referendum will be held, and it is sure to be, the results will be the same as in the Crimea”, – said Carpenter.

This statement of the leader of the militants “LNR” was made after Ukraine has blocked transport in the freight traffic with the occupied Donbass, allowing the movement of only certain goods and materials.
Earlier, Putin’s press Secretary Dmitry Peskov said that the Kremlin has no written script regarding the possible inclusion of “DNR” and “LNR” to Russia.
