Dollar at 8 Gontareva resigned: picket near NBU blocked Institute
To close Russian banks, to dismiss the head of NBU Valeria Gontareva and stabilize the hryvnia exchange rate – with such demands, the protesters blocked on Thursday the entrance to the premises of the National Bank of Ukraine. Though this fact they denied and said that it was just another picket said in the story TSN.19:30.
Among those present except the youth, were elderly people with posters about the dollar is at 8 USD. The order was provided by law enforcement authorities, the incident did not happen. But a rally in the middle of the day Institutskaya street became pedestrian.
On the same day itself Gontareva once again stressed that his decision to withdraw from the Bank will inform you in advance. She stated that she will retire only in the case when it will nominate a “professional and a technocrat”.
