The NEB concluded to investigate the case of “sugar attorney”

The consequence considers that from July 2015 to February 2016 entrepreneurs with the assistance of prosecutors and the State Executive service have plundered sugar, which was stored in warehouses of State specialized budgetary institution “Agrarian Fund” in the Cherkassy region. Sugar was stolen in the amount of 211,65 million.
Gorupravlenie in this case, the Deputy Prosecutor of Kyiv region Oleksandr Kolesnyk, former official of the State Executive service of the Main territorial administration of justice in the Cherkassy region and the head of the company.
Pre-judicial investigation on the specified facts the detectives NAB began in early February 2016 for their own practices. May 18, 2016, the detectives NAB arrested the Deputy Prosecutor of Kiev region, on the following day he was notified of the suspicion. June 16, 2016 detained an official of a company involved in the scheme of plunder of public sugar.
