Assessment Ukrmetallurgprom, cessation of trade with iron and steel companies in the occupied territories will lead to a loss of 1.6 billion UAH of taxes.
According to calculations of the Ministry of Finance, the loss of 40 enterprises due to the ban on the movement of goods across the demarcation line in the Donbas will deprive the Ukrainian budget about UAH 2 billion in tax revenue, writes in his article for DT.UA Julia Samaeva, citing a source in the Ministry.
It is noted that estimates of Ukrmetallurgprom, the cessation of trade with iron and steel companies in the occupied territories will lead to the loss budget of 1.6 billion UAH of taxes.

“By their calculations (the Ministry of Finance – Ed.) the loss of 40 businesses ORDO will cost the budget about $ 2 billion in tax revenues. This figure is more like the truth than that announced by Groisman 32 billion,” the article says.
In turn, the experts drew attention to the fact that the company, which until recently worked in ORDA under Ukrainian registration is the exporters who do not pay VAT, which forms a large part of tax revenues.
The same, in connection with the official loss-making concerns the profit tax.
“That is the direct tax losses are unlikely to be too significant. Much worse, of course, contributions to the Pension Fund and the tax to incomes of physical persons, because wages in large enterprises with considerable States were paid mainly officially”, – it summed up.
We will remind, on March 15, held an emergency meeting of the Council, which was the culmination of a tense situation by blocking ORDO. The national security Council took the decision to stop trade and transport links with the occupied territories.
The President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko said that the organizers of the blockade of trade with the occupied Donbass didn’t want the negotiations to control the movement of goods, but only PR. In his opinion, the blockade has created a way not only to capture the Ukrainian private and state-owned enterprises, but the justification of their transfer to the oligarchs-the fugitives or Russian oligarchs.
Later, the Minister of Finance of Ukraine Alexander danyluk said that the possible loss of the Ukrainian economy from blockade of trade with the occupied territories of Donetsk and Luhansk is estimated at 1.3% of GDP.
