In the Donbas since the beginning of ATO killed more than 2.6 thousand military – defense Ministry
For three years the ATO in the East of Ukraine killed 2.6 thousand Ukrainian military.
This was stated by the representative of the Ministry of defense of Ukraine Andriy Lysenko.
“Since the beginning of anti-terrorist operation to this day in the fighting died 2629 military. Among them, 2220, members of the Armed forces of Ukraine, the rest of the dead – from the ranks of the National guard, State border service, security service, State service of emergency situations”, – he stressed.
According to Lysenko, another 9453 soldiers were wounded, among them are 7674 APU fighters.
We will remind, earlier the Ministry of foreign Affairs of Ukraine reported that since the beginning of armed aggression of Russia against Ukraine has killed more than 9,800 people and about 23 thousand were wounded.
For the past day militants wounded two Ukrainian military in the ATO zone. The most tense situation was in the direction of Mariupol.
