For 10 years, has not solved the problem – it is a fact. Groisman criticized the Garden because of the garbage catastrophe
Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman criticized the work of the mayor of Lviv Andrey Sadovy because of the garbage catastrophe in the city.
He said this garden during a meeting with the city, township, village chairmen at the meeting of the “Association of cities of Ukraine”.
“I am ready to help and resolve the problem because I think that Lvov should not suffer. What happened or did not happen, for 10 years has not solved the problem – it is a fact. I don’t want to nod in the direction, but I just call a spade a spade,” – said Groisman.
He stressed that, as the mayor of Lviv Andriy Sadovy, he was elected mayor of Vinnytsia in 2006, and had faced a similar problem but decided.

“We did the landfill, took the infiltration, created two gas stations, drilled the appropriate hole, and today at the municipal landfill of the city of Vinnitsa, which I had the honour to lead, generate electricity. There is no smell, there’s no problems,” boasted the head of government.
He stressed that Vinnytsia is now an absolutely normal environmental condition.
“I am very sore, that in the 11 years since that time, we got mayors, you have not solved this problem”, – said Groisman.
He stressed that the problem of the transport of waste Lviv lasts for 10 months.
The Prime Minister reminded that in January took the train to Lviv, where he held a meeting of the regional Commission on emergency situations on which the city authorities of Lviv has offered three plots of land for the design and construction of a new landfill for garbage, of which the mayor chose one.
“On Friday or Thursday we decided that on Monday you got the land after 3 weeks you said that this land is not suitable“, – he complained.
The Prime Minister stressed that the budget of the city is 1.8 billion UAH, which is enough to create a landfill, land reclamation and the clean-up including Gribovichi dump.
