Parliament once again failed to choose the auditor NABOO
The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine again failed to choose the auditor of NABOO from the two candidates – Robert Storch and Nigel brown.
And in ranked voting, which gives a chance to vote for the appointment, was won by the Nigel brown. But voting for the appointment votes for him is not enough – only 200 for it.
Parubiy sent the question on candidates for revision to the Committee for the prevention of corruption.
We will remind, on March 16, the Verkhovna Rada put on the agenda the question of selection of the auditor of the National anti-corruption Bureau – in the session hall did not have enough votes.
Earlier, the head of the anti-corruption Committee of the Parliament Yegor Sobolev is not allowed to be considered at the Committee of the candidacy for the post of auditor NABOO Nigel brown, because he was “discovered manipulation of the document of the Parliament to promote Mr. brown.” Sobolev also accused brown of having links with the Russian oligarchs. 13 MPs to bypass the Chairman of the Committee met and voted for candidates.
Brown’s opponents say that with his help they want to replace him as Chairman of the NAB Artem Sytnik. Those who voted for, say approved two candidates, in addition to brown and even the inspector General of the justice Department Robert Storch, which actually acts Sobolev. And to choose between the two candidates will already be in the session hall.
