About Crimea, Ukrainian citizenship and evidence against Yanukovych. Interview of the deceased Boronenkov TSN

Today, March 23, outside the hotel in the center of Kyiv killed a former MP from the Communist Denis Boronenkov. Previously it is established that eks-the Deputy of the guard left of the hotel when unknown persons opened fire on them. In the shooting Voronenkov was killed. Now the Hitman and the security guard are in the hospital.

Boronenkov and his wife, also a Deputy of the state Duma of the Russian Federation, a famous Russian Opera singer Maria Maksakova in October 2016 to go to Ukraine, where he obtained citizenship. Boronenkov gave evidence to the General Prosecutor of Ukraine on charges of treason Yanukovych.

6 Dec Boronenkov became a citizen of Ukraine, he noted that she’s his second home country, because his family – from the Kherson region.

On February 15 in an exclusive interview with TSN Boronenkov told about why he left Russia, why did you testify against Yanukovych and on what you will do in Ukraine.

He also explained why voted for the annexation of Crimea: “What would an open vote against, well, were, what, 50 metres from the “thoughts” you don’t reach it. I would have been jailed on spurious grounds, my family would be destroyed, you know, my wife has already lost two children when you had this pressure. Who would have thought here in Ukraine that this man was Denis Boronenkov, who voted against the Crimea?”.

“I offered nothing, it was a request to me made by heads of state, and I consider it my duty, as a citizen of Ukraine, to give the testimony. They do not contradict any of my inner convictions, but it was not my initiative,” – commented on his testimony against Yanukovych Boronenkov.

Also, ex-member talked about what he wants to do in Ukraine: “I am a lawyer, and there are already some proposals that are connected with political activities. Policy I ate. I firmly believe that politics in Ukraine, Ukrainians have to do“.

I didn’t run away – I am free to choose and live where I want. I always thought to change the system we need inside of her to achieve certain results, to get to the point of decision-making and from there try to do something,” says Boronenkov as to why he left Russia.
