The government responded to the possibility Samoilova to speak at the “Eurovision”
Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine Vyacheslav Kyrylenko commented on the proposal of the organizers of “Eurovision” to speak the Russian party of Yulia Samoilova via satellite.
According to officials, the broadcast performance of the Russian contestants, which denied entry to Ukraine is a violation of law and the European broadcasting Union would know about it.
“Touring and shows with the participation of persona non grata in Ukraine is prohibited. The decision – to change a participant from Russia,” wrote Kirilenko in Facebook, adding that the position of the EMU politicized the competition.
