Evening call. Talking about Poroshenko with Lukashenko
Thursday, March 23, held a telephone conversation of presidents of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko and Belarusian Alexander Lukashenko.
“The sides discussed the state and prospects of development of bilateral relations. The presidents stressed the importance of the full implementation of the agreements reached during the meeting of the intergovernmental Belarusian-Ukrainian mixed Commission on trade-economic cooperation, which took place at the end of last year. The heads of state agreed to intensify bilateral political dialogue at all levels. President Alexander Lukashenko has congratulated the appointment of Ambassador of Ukraine to Belarus”, – said the press service of the President of Ukraine.
Recall, a month ago, on February 16, Poroshenko has appointed Ambassador of Ukraine to Belarus Igor Kizima. The last two years the Ambassador of Ukraine in Belarus was not. The office was headed by charge d’affaires of Ukraine to Belarus Valery dzhigun.
