The situation in the ATO zone remains tense. It is stated by the press center of the headquarters of the antiterrorist operation in the traditional formal report.
The military command counted for Saturday 39 cases the activity of militants across the front line. The opponent used forbidden Minsk agreements, heavy weapons.
“The epicenter of the fire of the confrontation was the Mariupol direction. Late at night, the defenders of Marinka the enemy fired from a tank, and in the morning began to actively use artillery and mortars. Of the artillery systems of caliber 122mm, the enemy fired at the Marines in the Water, from mortars caliber 120mm, the defenders of Pavlopol, Shirokino and Novotroitsk. Mortars of 82mm caliber, the enemy used near Talakivka, and anti-aircraft guns ZU–23-2 – near Shirokino. At positions near the settlements of Novotroitskoe, Shirokino and Water were the fire of enemy snipers,” the report at headquarters.
There are also reports that heavy mortars were also used for the shelling of Avdeevka and Novgorod in the direction of Donetsk.
