Bezviz for Ukrainians should make before the end of June – Mingarelli
The European Union Ambassador to Ukraine Hugues Mingarelli hopes that a visa-free regime for citizens of Ukraine will come into force before the end of June this year, reports Interfax-Ukraine.
“Ukraine fulfilled all obligations to visa-free regime and we hope that by the end of June, a visa-free regime between Ukraine and the EU will work,” Mingarelli said at the briefing in Lviv.
Recall, March 27, at 23:00 Kyiv time, began to operate a visa-free regime with the European Union to Georgia.
The decision to introduce visa-free regime for citizens of Georgia printed March 8 in the Official journal of the European Union. It was supposed to come into force in 20 days. This period has come exactly on 28 March.
Note, in parallel with Georgia in the European Union considered the question of granting Bezus for Ukraine. However, consideration of this issue was postponed. The European Parliament has scheduled a debate on liberalization of the visa regime for Ukraine on April 5 and April 6 will be voted on.
