“Continued hybrid war”: the justice Ministry responded to the arrest in absentia Yatsenyuk, the Russian court
The Minister of justice Pavel Petrenko said that the decision of the Russian court regarding the correspondence arrest of the former Prime Minister of Ukraine and leader of the “popular front” Arseniy Yatsenyuk – a continuation of the hybrid war of Russia against Ukraine.

Thus, the Ministry of justice call upon all democratic States not to recognise the in absentia arrest Yatsenyuk in Russia.
“This place Yatsenyuk for a coherent policy to counter Russian aggression. This is a fee for international lawsuits and sanctions against Russia, revenge for the policy of energy independence and the development of the defence sector of Ukraine”, – said Petrenko.

According to Petrenko, “this judgment proves once again that in Russia there is no independent judiciary, and convictions against Ukrainians write in the Kremlin. In this way in Russia and occupied Crimea has sentenced hundreds of Ukrainian citizens.”
He also added that next week will be meeting with Niels Muznieks, Council of Europe Commissioner for human rights, which will definitely draw his attention to “these shameful violations of the rights of Ukrainians in Russia.”
The Ministry of justice will seek clarification of all democratic countries not to recognize the decisions of Russian courts.
“We also note the European court of human rights in this process, as we have done in hundreds of other illegal detentions and trials of Ukrainians in Russia”, – said Pavel Petrenko.
Earlier it was reported that in Russia the court in absentia arrested the former Prime Minister of Ukraine and leader of the party “national front” Arseniy Yatsenyuk. In Russia he is accused of “atrocities” during the war in Chechnya.
The decision to arrest was taken Essentuki city court of Stavropol region of the Russian Federation, taking into account the resolution of the investigator of the Main investigation Department of the TFR in the North Caucasian Federal district.
