Yatsenyuk commented on his arrest in absentia in Russia: the revenge of Putin and the inadequacy of the Russian authorities

“The purpose of this action – not to allow to bring the Ukrainian position in all world capitals, to consolidate the entire free world and our friends against the Russian aggression with the purpose to restore the territorial integrity of Ukraine. But they will not succeed. This is another evidence of the absurdity and inadequacy of the Russian authorities,” – said Yatsenyuk. “Putin is taking revenge for sanctions against Russia, for Ukraine to become energy independent, we filed lawsuits with the European court of human rights and the United Nations against Russia for its military invasion of Ukraine and support of terrorism in Ukraine. And for the fact that Ukraine chose the course in Europe, in the free world”, he added.
The foreign Ministry of Ukraine the actions of the Russian Themis praised as a farce and an element of a hybrid war, and the Ministry of justice is preparing an appeal to the European court of human rights concerning non-recognition of the decisions of the Russian courts against Yatsenyuk.
