Lutsk, the MPs urged the Parliament as soon as possible to appoint elections of the mayor
Deputies of the Lutsk city Council appealed to the Verkhovna Rada with a request to quickly appoint a special election of the Lutsk city Chairman and determine the date.
The statement was made during city Council session, reported the press service of the Lutsk city Council.
In the opinion of the author, MP Andrey Pokrovsky, the appointment of elections of the mayor of Lutsk “will prevent the use of politicians of the situation in Lutsk in their own interests, will promote the interests of the residents of the city.”
In addition, the deputies unanimously voted for the adoption of a decision to take note of the fact of early termination of powers of the Lutsk city mayor Mykola Yaroslavovych Romaniuk in connection with his death.
