Ukraine asked the IMF to change the schedule of loan tranches

Ukraine asked the International monetary Fund (IMF) to reschedule the upcoming hits eff and EFF, respectively, for receiving future tranches within it.

The corresponding request (Request for Rephasing of Access) is specified in the agenda of the meeting of Directors, scheduled for April 3. This information is published on the IMF website.

While Ukraine has asked the IMF to reconsider financial guarantees under the program (Financing Assurances Review).

Note that the Ukrainian authorities already made a similar request, namely during the second revision of the program. Thus, 3 April fees on the third viewing.

“Due to the delay in the completion of this review and the implementation of certain programme activities, in particular the pension reform, the Ukrainian government has been asked to reduce the number of hits to 11 and rescheduling of receipt of loan tranches subject to the further progress of reforms and requirements to comply with the payment balance”, — said in the materials of the IMF on the second revision, reports Interfax-Ukraine.

Recall, the IMF Executive Board was to consider the allocation of Ukraine the next credit tranche of $ 1 billion March 20. However, due to the introduction of official trade embargo with the occupied Donbass, the IMF has postponed consideration of the question of agreeing to the new numbers worsened macroeconomic forecasts.

Then, on March 27 in Kiev has completed the work of the technical mission of the IMF on tax policy. Now instead of earlier predicted a 2.8% GDP growth in the Bank now gives a figure of 1.9%.

On 30 March the Minister of Finance of Ukraine Alexander danyluk said that the Board of Directors of the International monetary Fund will consider the allocation of Ukraine tranche 3 APR.
