MH17 disaster: Bellingcat claims that the only “Beech” in the Donbas were Russian
International expert and journalist group Bellingcat analyzed the images of the chaplain of the Armed forces of Ukraine Mikhail Gredil which he published in the social network on 15 July 2014 and came to the conclusion that the only “Beech”, which was in range of the Malaysian flight MH17 was a Russian “Buk-322”.

Pictures of father Michael was uploaded geotagged near Donetsk, however, it turned out that in fact they were made at the air base in Myrhorod in the Poltava region, far from the front lines. Soon the geographic label has been removed.
In addition, the complex “Buk” found on a video in April 2014, which recorded the movement of military equipment in the district of Mirgorod. Bellingcat was able to find the exact coordinates of the military base in Poltava region on which the photographed Gredil “Buki”. On the satellite image from August 2014 “beeches” difficult to see, but the pictures from August 2015 and February 2016, you can see that they are stationed there still.
Therefore, “the only operational launcher “Buk”, which was seen in the area of shelling MH17 on 17 July 2014, was a Russian “Buk-332″ from the 53rd anti-aircraft missile brigade in Kursk”, – stated in the message Bellingcat.

13 October 2015, the Security Council of the Netherlands published its report on the crash of passenger liner Boeing 777 “Malaysian airlines”. According to the document, the aircraft was struck by parts of the 9N314M missiles fired from MANPADS “Buck”; it was found that the initial launching point is located on a land area of about 320 square kilometers in Eastern Ukraine.
In January 2016, the relatives of the passengers who died in the accident MH17, urged the Prime Minister of the Netherlands Mark Rutte to lead the global campaign to achieve publication data radar control. Members of 18 families expressed confidence that it will help to establish exactly who shot down the airliner over Ukraine on 17 July 2014.

The international investigation team managed to identify most of the route, which SAM “Buk” went to the territory of Ukraine, as well as the route of its movement in the opposite direction. According to investigators, the complex was moved from Russia into Eastern Ukraine and later deported back to Russia on white trucks Volvo.
