“Ukrtelecom” ceased to provide telephone services in the occupied Donbas

The company “Ukrtelecom”, owned by billionaire Rinat Akhmetov, has ceased to provide services of telephone and Internet in the occupied Donbas.

“Telephone services and access to the Internet is provided in the uncontrolled territories of Donetsk and Lugansk regions in connection with the loss of control over Telecom network”, – explained in “Ukrtelecom”.

Recall that a month ago because of the trade and transport blockade of the occupied Donbas from Ukraine, the militants announced the “nationalization” of public and private enterprises operating in the territory ORDO. This list also hit, and “Ukrtelecom”. At its base, militants have launched operator “Komtel”.

Meanwhile, the “Ukrtelecom” Akhmetov wants to get compensation from Ukraine for the “nationalization” of its assets in the occupied Donbas.
