OSCE monitors recorded explosions near PPC “Mom”

Monitoring mission of the OSCE witnessed the explosions near the former humanitarian logistics center near Ukraine-controlled Odradivka settlement (Donetsk region).

This is stated in the mission report.

SMM patrol consisting of 5 members of the mission were sent to PPC in Mom to monitor the contact line crossing two representatives of the armed forces of the Russian Federation in the Joint center for control and coordination.

Being close to the former humanitarian logistics center 2 km on South from the city Otradovka, observers heard and saw two explosions within 300 m to the South.

Located near the South end of Otradovka for 2 km on North from humanitarian logistics center, observers heard two more explosions.

The mission noted that the Ukrainian side to the JCCC said that the explosions were controlled explosions associated with conducting demining in close proximity to humanitarian logistics center.

“At the time of the incident, the patrol did not record any mine-clearance work, at the same time SCCC in advance were not informed the SMM about carrying out such works in this area”, – stated in the mission.
