Klitschko commented on the initiative on the dumping of waste in Chernobyl
The mayor of Kiev Vitali Klitschko called rumors allegedly the idea of the city authorities to take the garbage from the capital to the Chernobyl zone.

“I don’t know where such rumors is to take out the garbage at Chernobyl. We have to recycle garbage in a civilized manner. Now working in Kiev plant “Energy”. Continue our talks with investors for modernization of the plant to the garbage utilizable without any negative consequences for the environment. Also, negotiations are continuing on the construction of modern plants for waste processing, new enterprises that meet all criteria and new technologies”, – said the mayor.
Klitschko stressed that the problem of waste disposal is now acute, not only in Lviv and Kyiv, but in General throughout Ukraine.
