“The state Duma” approved the holding of presidential elections in day of occupation of Crimea

Illegitimate Russian state Duma in the first reading approved the transfer of presidential elections in 2018, on the day of the annexation of Crimea on 18 March.

For this bill voted 333 “MP”, according to Republic.ru.

The document proposes to postpone the election if the voting day will be held before the holiday or if the week includes a public holiday.

The presidential election in 2018 was supposed to be held on Sunday 11 March, but since Thursday, March 8 – working day, the elections are carried on Sunday 18 March.

Recall, the illegitimate speaker of the state Duma Vyacheslav Volodin supported the idea to hold the elections of the President of Russia in 2018, 18 March — the day of signing between Russian President Vladimir Putin and his Crimean puppets of the so-called “Treaty on accession of Crimea to Russia”.
