Belarus gave more than $ 700 million debt for Russian gas

Belarus in full, in the amount of 726,2 million dollars, to repay the overdue debt for Russian gas deliveries in 2016-2017.

“We were able to find common approaches and completely settled the problem,” – said Deputy Prime Minister Arkady Dvorkovich.

According to him, Russia and Belarus signed a package of documents regulating the supply of oil and gas prices, immediately after payment of debt for gas.

The documents were previously approved at the Russian government meeting on Thursday.

The sides signed a Protocol on amendments to agreement between governments on the formation of prices in the supply and transportation of gas to Belarus and further cooperation in the gas sector.
