Martynenko called NABU and SAP “cheap PR firm” and “Georgian mafia”
A suspect in a criminal organisation and embezzlement of ex-people’s Deputy Mykola , Martynenko, whom the court released on bail of 15 deputies and four Ministers, urged the Ukrainian President to respond to the actions of NABU and SAP, calling them “a branch of the Georgian mafia” and “cheap PR firm”.
He declared it on air of one of Ukrainian TV channels, writes “LB.ua”.
“I want to appeal to the President to react… NABOO and Specialized anti-corruption Prosecutor’s office has now become a branch of the Georgian mafia. This is a cheap PR Agency does what falsificare case, throws people in jail and not follow through. There is no fight against corruption, there is a cheap public relations Agency, which is played in politics”, – said the former MP.
Martynenko also said that he will prove his innocence and bring to trial the leadership of NABOO.
We will note, on Saturday, April 22, during a meeting of the Solomenskiy district court of Kiev in the matter of election Martynenko a preventive measure, he said that “immediately came the team of supervisors for the actions of NABOO, led by ally Saakashvili Sakvarelidze”.
“This is evidence of a systematic dependence of NABOO from the group that the guidance Bureau is Gizo Uglava. This fact should be recorded for all who follow the activities of the NEB, and understand that the Bureau used as an instrument of political struggle and the collapse of the coalition”, – he added.
According to the former MP, the purpose of such action is the holding of early parliamentary elections, “to bring to the Parliament their political power.”
“Sytnyk and Plavi already reserved space in the party Saakashvili-Leshchenko,” said Martynenko.
We will remind, on April 20, detectives NABOO and SAP prosecutors arrested two people — former Deputy Mykola Martynenko and his accomplice Sergei Fracture on suspicion of forming a criminal organization and of misappropriation and embezzlement of property per SE “VostGOK” damages in the amount of 17.28 million dollars.
According to investigators, in 2013-2016 Martynenko, using official position, was involved in the creation of a criminal group that embezzled public funds. SE “Eastern mining and processing plant” signed a contract with the intermediary company controlled by the former MP, for the supply of uranium concentrate at inflated prices. In the NEB noted that as a result of this transaction the state was damaged by 17.28 million US dollars.
Mykola Martynenko said that the charges against him was fabricated at the direction of the Director of NABU Artem Sytnik.
On Saturday, April 22, judge Bobrovnik released former people’s Deputy Nikolay Martynenko on bail of 15 MPs and four Ministers decided to release him from custody.
In turn, the Specialized anti-corruption Prosecutor’s office assured that he would appeal the court’s decision.
