The situation in the area of the ATO remains tense, the fighters continue armed provocations against APU.
Since the beginning of the day, the enemy 54 times opened fire on strong points of the Ukrainian defenders, the press center of the ATO headquarters.
It is noted that over the past day two Ukrainian soldiers were killed, four soldiers injured.
On the seaside directionfrom mortars 120-mm and 82-mm grenade launchers of various systems and heavy machine guns the enemy beat on the defenders of Krasnogorovka. Mortars of caliber of 120 mm and rocket-propelled grenades fired at strong points in the area Novotroitsk. Positions near Birch, the enemy were covered with fire 82-millimetre mortars, and in the area Gotovogo – automatic grenade launchers and machine guns of large calibers. Weapons, infantry fighting vehicles, antitank grenade launchers and large-caliber machine guns the enemy used under Water and Menkou, and small arms near Shyrokine. Arms of the APC and grenade launchers, the enemy fired at the reference points under the Chermalyk, and from APCS and machine guns of large calibers fired at Marines near Pavlopol.

On Donetsk the directionfrom mortars 120-mm and 82-mm grenade launchers of various systems and heavy machine guns the enemy fired at positions near Avdeevka. Defenders Verhnetoretskogo fired rocket-propelled grenades and 82 mm mortars, and defenders of the mine Butovka from heavy machine guns. On the Lugansk direction, the fire of artillery of caliber 122-mm mortars 120-mm and 82-mm caliber, grenade launchers and heavy machine guns of a division of Russian troops occupying covered positions near the settlement of Novotoshkivske. At the reference points for the Crimean, the enemy used artillery caliber of 122 mm, grenade launchers and 82-millimeter mortars. The defenders of the village of Stary Aidar, the enemy fired from 120-millimetre mortars, and Oborona Novoaleksandrovka – anti-tank missile system. Grenade launchers of various systems and machine guns of large calibers used under the Novozvanovka. Machine guns of large calibers and small arms, the enemy beat on positions near the settlement of Yellow.
“In some cases, where there is an immediate threat to life and health of servicemen, the commanders made decisions on the adequate opening fire in response,” – said in the message.
We will remind, earlier it was reported that the militants of the two groups tried to seize the positions of Ukrainian army in the area of the industrial zone of the Town. The attempt to storm the Ukrainian locomotive was preceded by a three-hour bombardment.
