Turchynov: several providers may have to implement the decision of the national security Council to ban the Russian resources
Several providers stated that they are ready now (to block access to the sanctions of Russian products – ed) to accomplish.
About this NSDC Secretary Oleksandr Turchynov stated on air of “112 Ukraine”.
He also added that, in order to impose sanctions against providers who do not fulfill the NSDC decision, first you need to make changes to the legislation.
“To talk about sanctions against providers, I say objectively, such a task has been set, we need to make some changes to the legislation. But I’m sure we will find arguments to Ukrainian providers of protected information field of Ukraine, protecting our citizens from aggression,” said Turchynov.
According to him, citizens of Ukraine can carry out the decision of Parliament now.
“My appeal to the citizens, especially to those who work in the information field of the Ukrainian providers, friends, don’t wait for letters from the SBU, now have the opportunity”, – said Turchinov.
