The first official contact: Kuchma met with US special envoy Volker
The representative of Ukraine in the tripartite contact group on settlement of the situation in the Donbas Leonid Kuchma met with the Special representative of the USA in Ukraine with Kurt Volker.
This was reported by press Secretary of Leonid Kuchma Darka olifer in Facebook.

Walker began his career in the field of foreign policy as an analyst of the Central intelligence Agency in 1986. Also worked at the headquarters of Senator John McCain from 1997 to 1998. He was a career diplomat who was the acting permanent representative to NATO during the presidency of George W. Bush and Barack Obama. Now he is an expert on foreign policy and national security at the Institute for international leadership, McCain at the University of Arizona.
