Immunity: Lutsenko promised resubmission at MPs

The Prosecutor General of Ukraine Yuri Lutsenko is indignant with the decision of the Ukrainian Parliament, which has not lifted the immunity of two MPs.

“Representation by deputies in respect of which the Parliament has not given consent to the removal of immunity will be resubmitted,” – said Lutsenko.

As you know, in the procedural Committee received 6 submissions on the lifting of parliamentary immunity of people’s deputies Yevgeny Deydey, Oles Dovgy, Mikhail Dobkin, Andrey Lozovoy, Maxim Polyakov and Borislav Rosenblatt. The Committee acknowledged the submission of Dade, a Long and Lozovoy “insufficiently substantiated”, but sent them to the President of the Council, Andriy Parubiy, who must decide to put it to a vote.

The Parliament stripped the immunity of MPs of Dade and Lozovoy.

As you know, MP Boryslav Rozenblat, together with his colleague Maxim Polyakov appears in the “amber case”, Mikhail Dobkin is suspected of involvement in fraud with the land in Kharkov, Lozovaya charged with tax evasion amounting to more than 1.8 million hryvnia, of Dade also accused of illicit enrichment. Dovgy, meanwhile, appeared in the case for 45 acres of land in reserved Zhukov island.
