AP: Ukraine will announce a question of de-occupation of the Crimea at the next session of the UNGA

Ukraine is working on a number of initiatives for the next session of the UN General Assembly, in particular, the de-occupation of Crimea.

This was stated by Deputy head of the presidential administration of Ukraine Konstantin Eliseev, writes Krym.Realities.

“As for the Crimea: we are talking about new ideas for the de-occupation of Crimea with the use of existing international mechanisms and sanctions in order to still return the Crimea to the bosom of Ukrainian sovereignty. We are now preparing for the session of the UN General Assembly. Ukraine will come with initiatives in the UN framework, specifically with regard to Crimea, in terms of its de-occupation,” – said Elisha.

He added that the issues of Crimea and Donbas is the “alpha and omega” in negotiations with international partners.

72nd session of the UN General Assembly will open on September 12.

Turchinov stressed that the document is ready, but there is the decision of the President of Petro Poroshenko, which is implemented on the meeting of the Council on consultations regarding the law with the countries-participants of “Normandy format” and NATO partners.
