The Ambassador of Ukraine handed to the UN the statement of the Ministry to stop the escalation of the conflict in the Donbas

The permanent representative of Ukraine to the United Nations Volodymyr Yelchenko handed over to the UN the statement of the foreign Ministry of Ukraine with a demand from Russia to stop provocations in the Donbass.

It is reported by the permanent mission of Ukraine to the UN in Twitter.

“I appreciate your help in communicating this letter and statement that is attached, as a document of the General Assembly, under item 31 of the agenda of the 71 session of the security Council,” – said in a letter to UN Secretary-General antónio Guterres.

The Ministry of foreign Affairs considers the actions of the aggressor state and supported militants as a conscious failure mode “grain fire”, which was supposed to last from June 24 to August 31. Only three days on July 18-20, Ukraine has lost 11 soldiers, injuring 15 soldiers and two civilians.
