Poroshenko signed the law on the settlement of admission to universities in the Donbas

President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko has signed the law regulating admission to the universities of Donbass.

Bill No. 6548 “On amendments to the Law of Ukraine “On higher education” concerning the activities of higher educational institutions on the territory of Donetsk and Lugansk regions” provides for the settlement of admission for training in higher educational institutions located on the territory of Donetsk and Lugansk regions.

For higher education institutions in Donetsk and Lugansk regions is set to a fixed volume of state order for training of specialists with higher education for all disciplines and all educational levels.

The implementation of the bill will not require additional funding from state and local budgets and will promote settlement and resolution of key issues in the activities of higher education institutions located on the territory of Donetsk and Lugansk regions.
