The court allowed the investigators to detain the GPU Chernovetsky
The investigators of the General Prosecutor’s office of Ukraine received the court’s permission for the detention of the former mayor of Kiev Leonid Chernovetsky, a suspect in the abuse of power.
This was announced on his page on Facebook press Secretary of the head GPU Larissa garfish.
“On 25 July, investigators of the GPU obtained a court order for the detention of Leonid Chernovetsky to drive to participate in the consideration of the petition for application of a preventive measure in the form of detention”, – she wrote.
According to Sarhan, the court’s permission to detain Chernovetsky was received in connection with the fact that the ex-mayor evading and hiding from the investigation.
