The AP confirmed that Poroshenko Saakashvili was deprived of Ukrainian citizenship
President Petro Poroshenko has deprived the former head of the state administration of Odessa region , Mikheil Saakashvili, on citizenship of Ukraine based on the recommendations of the Commission on citizenship issues under the President of Ukraine.
This was announced in the President’s Administration, Ukrainska Pravda reports.

“On representation of State migration service, which gave convincing evidence of submission of false information in the applications, the Commission on citizenship issues under the President of Ukraine decided to support the motion for termination of citizenship of Ukraine, Mikheil Saakashvili, and encouraged the President to take a decision”, – noted in administration.
“Based on the recommendations of the head of state signed the corresponding decree. According to the legislation on protection of personal data, this act shall not be published because it contains confidential information, including personal data,” added officials.
