The headquarters of the ATO noted the escalation in the Donbas: there are dead and wounded
For Saturday, July 29, in the area of ATO in the Donbas during the shelling militants killed one Ukrainian military, another six were injured.
“For today the situation in the ATO area worsened. Since the early days of the Russian-terrorist groups twice opened fire, but these attacks led to the deaths and injuries of Ukrainian military. So, on the Mariupol direction around 8:00, the criminals hit from a mortar of calibre of 120 millimetres on the positions of ATO forces on the approaches to Krasnogorovka. Three mortar shells fell near our reference point. As a result of attack one serviceman of the armed forces of Ukraine was killed and six received injuries of various degrees”, – stated in the press center of staff ATO.
The second attack was about Novotoshkovsky. Fighters opened fire from grenade launchers.
“It is worth noting that is not the first time a single sighting shelling of positions of ATO forces causing fatalities. Although the Ukrainian side strictly observes the ceasefire almost every fire fighters from our soldiers is an asymmetrical response. Every Ukrainian killed and wounded would be costly to the enemy. After all, the preservation of life and health of our soldiers is one of the priorities of the command of the antiterrorist operation”, – noted in the press center of staff ATO.
