Airline “Motor Sich” plans to start regular flights from Ternopil

Airline “Motor Sich” plans to participate in the development of Ternopil airport.

In particular, the company wants to begin running regular flights Kiev-Ternopil and Kyiv, Ternopil, Rzeszow, Poland, Interfax reports.

According to the report, these plans were discussed during the meeting of the Chairman of regional state administration Stepan Barns with the honorary President of PJSC “Motor Sich”, Deputy group “people’s Will” Vyacheslav Boguslayev.

Also the suggestions of PJSC “Motor Sich” on cooperation provide for the placement on the basis of Ternopil airport, the so-called logistics hub for maintenance of aircraft and helicopters.

In turn, PJSC “Motor Sich” confirmed the readiness to participate in solving the problems of employment in the region and voiced the interest in accommodation in Ternopil region locations with the manufacturing of their products.

“For us it is important that modern high-tech maintenance center for aviation technology appeared in the Ternopil region. In the near future it will be necessary to explore all possible ways of implementing such a project,” said Barna.

Earlier it was reported that the Ukrainian company “Motor Sich” can start producing their own helicopters next year.
