The American Embassy in Moscow has ceased to conduct interviews for visa via Skype

The U.S. diplomatic mission in Moscow may not conduct interviews with applicants for a nonimmigrant visa Skype.

This was stated by the head of the consular section of the U.S. Embassy in Moscow Lawrence You, reports “Interfax”.

“For a number of technical reasons we can’t do that. Unfortunately, it is impossible,” he said.

Previously at the U.S. Embassy in Russia announced that due to limitations in the number of employees of the U.S. mission in Russia, starting August 23, the procedure of issuing non-immigrant visas for the whole of Russia will be terminated.

In this September 1 this procedure resumes only in Moscow, and previously scheduled appointments will be cancelled.
