“Naftogaz” and “Gazprom” could not agree on a price for gas – KOBOLEV
“Naftogaz of Ukraine” and Russian JSC “Gazprom” could not agree on the formula, gas prices, therefore the final solution of this question will be received in the Stockholm arbitration court.

“At the request of the Tribunal, we held negotiations with “Gazprom” the contract on purchase-sale of gas. They recently ended, and we go to the Tribunal for a final decision on a new formula of some other aspects for further work with this company”, – said the official.
KOBOLEV noted that he could not disclose many details of the closed negotiations between the companies, but, according to him, “Naftogaz” and “Gazprom” has not made the progress they expected the Tribunal.

“Gazprom” and “Naftogaz of Ukraine” the legal proceedings in the Stockholm arbitration court in June 2014. The subject of the lawsuits are the contracts for gas supplies from Russia to Ukraine and transit through Ukraine from 2009.
The Ukrainian company has demanded from “Gazprom” compensation 30.3 billion dollars for the revision of tariff for fuel transportation through the gas transportation system of Europe. Gazprom demands from Naftogaz of 47.1 billion dollars.
